This weekend we went to Barcelona to do the whole tourist-thing. I have been to Barcelona before, but only passing through, so to speak. Anyways, so our plan was to go and see Parc Güell and Sagrada Familia (like I said, the whole tourist-thing, not very original). All we ever got around to see, however, was Parc Güell, since we decided to diss Segrada Familia and go and eat instead. No pasa res though, I don't believe in seeing famous sights just because you're "supposed" to see them, we had a great time and I don't think it would have been a lot better even if we had been to see la Sagrada. So, so far so good. However, what happened on the metro on the way back kind of spoiled the whole thing for us. I won't go in to details, but we were robbed. Yes, also very cliché and I have a feeling we kind of brought it on our selves. But still. So I guess now I have really done the whole tourist-in-Barcelona-thing, even the get-robbed part. All in all, I have to say I like it a lot better here, in La Seu.
(Y ahora, intentaré escribir lo mismo en castellano:) Este fin de semana fuímos a Barcelona para hacer cosas turisticas. He estada en Barcelona antes, pero solo "passing through". Iríamos a ver la Segrada Familia, Parc Güell, todas esas cosas muy típicas de Barcelona. Pues, estuvimos en Parc Güell, fue muy chulo, y cuándo veríamos a la Sagrada, teníamos mucho hambre y decidimos que iríamos a comer al lugar. Pero no pasa nada, pienso que no se debe ir a lugares turísticos simplemente por qué se cree que hay que verlos por qué son famosos o algo, pasamos un buen tiempo y no creo que habría pasado mejor si hubiéramos visto la Sagrada Familia. Hasta aquí, todo bien, pero todavía pasó algo mal en el metro cuándo volvíamos. No contaré los detalles, pero nos robaron, y claro era muy mal. Supongo que ahora de verdad he hecho el experiencía turistica, hasta que ser robada. De todos modos, a mí me gusta más aquí, en la Seu.
